Second Life Community Program - Rooted Eco Sculptures
Adam Connolly starts his creations without the use of a sketch, using only the natural folds and shapes the tree has to offer. After 200 hours spent, this magnificient tree has resulted in a sculpture that celebrates, spirit, reslience, joy and the inter-connectivity of creation.
Second Life For Trees is a program that comes from Adam Connolly's vision of providing historical trees with a second life. When century old trees have to be removed because they fall victim to Nature's whim, a void is created. Second Life For Trees holds the premise of creating rather than destroying. Still firmly rooted in the past, the tree will be tranformed into a sculpture which will represent the natural, cultural and ethnic heritage of the community, or the spirit of the charitable organization that will benefit from the art piece.
Adam also does private Second Life for Tree commissions. Please contact us for further information.
